Having a level of fear is a good thing, in fact it could save your life, it prevents us from taking unnecessary risks like jumping from great heights or walking into traffic. These simple tips can form part of your toolkit to form a routine when your faced with a fear.
Positive Self Talk Only: When you’re faced with something new, or you want to grow it’s natural to have doubts, to consider and weigh up options. What you should listen out for is the talks you’re giving yourself. Are they positive, encouraging and do they help serve your end goal? You really want to close down any negative talk quickly, try using motivational quotes, listening to podcasts, talks from people you respect and are inspired by. All of these will help to build your inner confidence.
Make A Decision, And Go For It: There’s no time like the present! If you decide on your goals, then choose to take positive actions that support getting you there every day. Remember -small steps lead to big changes, making mindful decisions to take action will build your confidence.
Stop Beating Yourself Up: We’re all human and that means we’ll have bad days, we’ll make some wrong choices, we’ll experience setbacks. All of which are perfectly ok. If this happens try not to punish yourself, instead be encouraging to yourself and create a new plan, one that will serve you better to improve your confidence and take you closer to your dream life.
Mindset is everything, and choosing to invest in mindset work will not only improve your moods and relationships, it will give you the strength and confidence to achieve anything.
